18th Annual Poster Show

This poster series was created for the 18th Annual Poster Show at Arizona State University. The prompt was to create a poster about posters, which turned out to be much more challenging than I expected. After exploring different concepts, I landed on the word peel, which can refer to both peeling paper and peeling fruit. I used that connection to create a playful visual pun across the series.

This project taught me how important concept development is in the design process. I learned that some of the strongest ideas come from looking at a problem from a different perspective and pushing past the obvious solutions. It also helped me become more confident in using humor and wordplay to communicate ideas visually. The series was selected to move on to the second round of voting.
